Crime and punishment

Talking about crime and punishment in English class helped me see that justice is not always black and white. Through videos, texts, and discussions, I learned how different countries apply punishment, and how sometimes people are judged unfairly or harshly.

One important lesson was that punishment should not always be about revenge. In some cases, rehabilitation and education can help people change. I realized that behind every crime there is a story, and we need to analyze the causes, not only the consequences.
This topic helped me improve my vocabulary and express my opinions, but more importantly, it taught me to think with empathy and fairness.
